That´s what Victor´s mom told me anyway... That the grocery store below our house is just for the things you forget. I still do most of my shopping there anyway. I don´t like carrying big bags through the street. Anyway, the point of this blog is for things I forgot.
Last Tuesday, after submitting my residency paperwork and internetting, I stopped by the bank to see about opening an account. I went the bank where Victor goes because there are about 1 billion different banks in Spain and I had to start somewhere. Well before I knew it, I had opened an youth account that doesn´t charge me anything and when I get my residency number, I can change that for my passport number. So that was amazing and a real blessing. Hopefully, its all its cracked up to be.....
Also one day, I don´t know when, I was sending messages to people to see how much they charged for private classes. Well one guy from Dublin, Ireland, called me back instead of sending me a message. He got really upset when he found out I already spoke English, (because it is physilocially impossible for me to lie) and told me I should be more polite. He also told me that I had been in Granada too long because I was starting to act like granadinos and their mallafollá. If you don´t know what that is, that´t ok, in a nutshell, he was not very nice to me and told me so. I was suprised, and shocked and thought it was a little funny. If you are too serious over here, it just works to your disadvantage. I wanted to go a rip his ad off the telephone booth, but I didn´t. What goes around comes around. :)
